HELLO! I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND YOUR SITE. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR MY COUSIN RICHARD AGAIN FOR AWHILE SINCE I WAS REMARRIED. I AM NEW ON COMPUTER. PLEASE EXCUSE CAPITALS, I HAD EYE SURGERY. IS RICHARD YOUR DAD? I AM HIS FIRST COUSIN. MY AUNT HELEN, HIS MOM, WAS MY FAVORITE AUNT. I SPOKE TO RICH ABOUT 11 YRS. AGO AND HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD WHICH MADE ME FEEL BETTER. HE CHANGED MY LIFE WITH HIS OBSERVATION. I GRADUATED FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT AND BECAME A PRIVATE DETECTIVE BECAUSE OF HIS REMARK ABOUT HOW I WAS TREATED WHEN A CHILD. I LOST CONTACT AS MY EX THREW AWAY MY ADDRESSBOOK. I AM HAPPILY WED AND I AM SO GRATEFUL TO RICHARD. COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE HIM MY ADDRESS? RICH WAS ALWAYS SO VERY FUNNY AS A KID I ALWAYS THOUGHT HE SECRETLY GREW UP TO BE DAVID LETTERMAN. I ADMIRED THE WAY HE WAS BROUGHT UP, FREE AND WITH CONFIDENCE. I ADORED AUNT HELEN AND UNKIE ARTHUR. WELL I HAVE GONE ON LONG ENOUGH. MY EMAIL IS CAROL.SPAIN@SBCGLOBAL.NET THANK YOU SO MUCH. I COULD TELL YOU MANY CUTE STORIES ABOUT RICHARD AS A CHILD WHEN WE'D VISIT HIS HOME. TAKE CARE. THANKS AGAIN. CAROL KERNISKEY SPAINolor=Maroon][/color]

Brian,
I am currently helping a lady research her Hensman ancestors, some of whom have the name Boswell Hensman. I too have found the link with Canada, Surrey England, London England and also the legal profession with this family. If you read this message would you please contact me via email . By the way, I'm an amateur genealogist freely helping this lady with her family interest.
Regards
Teresa

Hello Hensman searchers.
The Hensman family was also big in Kimbolton in the 1800's. I have an interest in the Hensmans who have the given name Boswell. This carries on for five generations, starting with Boswell and Sarah of Kimbolton in 1805, when they had christened their son Boswell. Their marriage is so far not traced, and neither can I find Boswell's father. This branch of the family were in the legal profession and spent some time in Canada around 1862 before returning to England. Can anyone help in tracing the early Boswell?
Brian

Hi all I have been reading with interest all of the postings about the Hensmans and could not resist. Our family of Hensmans are from Srilanka - my great great grandfather was the first ordained priest in the Methodist church in Jaffna -
We are now all over the world - In Australia , Canada and I am in the US.
I know of a monument , home and school in the South of India that is connected to the Hensmans- not sure how all of this helps
I have a family tree that takes us back to the late 1800's
Regards to all

I have found a Hensman on my family tree, it is Lucy Hensman whose father is William and she married my Great Grand Father Isaac Richard Fruen.
They married 22 nov 1885 in London.

Hi there. This message is from New Zealand where there are several Hensman families - all of us related. One of my cousins has done our family tree starting with John Hensman from Ravenston, Bucks, England - born in 1783 and died in 1860.
There are probably Hensmans in Australia also as we are aware that there is Hensman Street in Perth and a Mt. Hensman in the Northern Terrritory.
It's been very interesting reading the messages from other Hensmans from all over the world. Perhaps I'll hear back from some of you.

Dear Jessica,
I lost contact with your Dad a year ago. We were good long distance friends. I live in Ireland. I just wanted to know if he was ok. We talked by text or phone nearly everyday and then because of the trouble he thought it best to stop contact until it was over but that was the last I heard from him. I hope you don't mind if I ask if he is ok. You can e-mail me at noracullen@yahoo.ie.
Yours sincerely,
Nora

I wonder if I can help with any information? My branch of the family are all in Leicestershire, not too far from Northamptonshire. There are an awful lot of us, so maybe you could find a link somewhere, if you want more information, then let me know and I'll see what I can find out for you. I did once look into the history briefly and it lead me into the region of Cheshire, perhaps that might help too?

I tried to e-mail you today and the message was returned because the address is wrong. The address "meredithandadamwitt@bellsouth.net" does not work. Should there be some sort of punctuation mark in the address? I have a large amount of Hensman family information going back to Michael Hensman in 1594 which I'd like to share. I'd also like to contact your father Richard again.
