I SEE THERE IS A PLAN TO "DEVELOP" THE FARM YARD AND TURN THE FARM SHOP INTO A DWELLING.

CAN WE PLASE DRUM UP SUPPORT FOR THIS VERY WORTHY VENTURE THAT PROVIDES A VERY WORTHWHILE SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITY - THE MEAT IS A 1000 TIMES BETTER THAN THE BARELY DEAD MEAT FROM TESCOS ETC

Hi High Streeter and welcome to the forum. Its always good to see new names on the list.

Yes there are plans to re-develop the Farm. The recent application is a re-hash of one that was submitted a few months ago. the main difference is that the road inside the site has been diverted so that part of an existing building is not demolished.

I agree wholeheartedly that the farm shop is a very valuable asset to the village. not only for the convenience but, as you say, the quality of produce. I don't really know what can be done about it except to appeal to the landowners. What do others think?
