Dear Clapham inhabitants,

I do hope this posting finds you all well.  My name is Rebecca Welsh and I am a Television Producer working at ITV on London’s Southbank.  The reason for my posting is that I am currently Producing a new observational documentary project for which we are looking for women and couples across rural Britain who have a real sense of community spirit – active community members who would like to put their village on the map.

The programme is one of series of three entitled Tribes, and we are interested particularly in talking to women who feel that their role in village society defines or influences the way that they dress.  They may be the mayor, vicar, bell ringer, farmer or farmer’s wife, supporter of women’s societies, or a parish councillor.  Or they may be involved in one of the village clubs or societies.

Should you yourself be interested, or should any particular members of the community spring to mind who might be suited to a project of this nature, I would be hugely grateful if you would get in contact on either of the number’s below – or alternatively by email.  I will be very happy to answer any questions you may have and of course explain more about the project.

Very many thanks for reading this, and hope to hear from you soon!

Kind regards

Rebecca Welsh
