I have had similar concerns, the need to be registered has resulted in a drastic drop in postings, one of my three village forums has only had a couple of posts in the last couple of months. Another has had nothing since January and the third nothing since November.

If new members are not able to register, then there is definately a problem.

I am considering setting up a new forum when I get time, I will have a look at your new forum and see what it is like, I might then set up a new one when I get a chance.

I have noticed that there has not been much activity on any of the forums recently.
