All web sites nominated are superb places to visit and any one could have won the top accolade. In particular we must mention Pentyrch, Saltfleetby, Kircubbin, Newbiggin by the Sea, Harberton, Kingsbarns, Tollerton, and Long Clawson, who all put in a good showing in the votes. Vote checking included validating a variety of details by hand afterwards. Thousands of votes were cast, hundreds were excluded (nice try guys!), and the winner won by a clear majority.
